One of the priorities for the GURN is to foster and initiate trade union research and publication on issues of broad interest.  To date, it has aimed to fulfil this objective through the publication of a series of Discussion Papers, covering a particular subject in some depth.  These Discussion Papers are intended to generate the debates and discussions relevant for today’s labour movements.

In the coming months, the Discussion Papers series will be supplemented by a second ongoing series of “Information Briefs”.  The Information Briefs will be shorter, and provide more fact-based reporting on specific trade union struggles, campaigns, or contexts.
